This project was started with an IVEC allocation for project “pt-862” and “Murdoch_Agri_Bio_Data_Integration” which addressed methodologies on how to integrate various dataset together into a structure to allow data-mining and identify patterns (see refs in http://researchrepository.murdoch.edu.au/view/author/Diepeveen,_Dean.html). A process has now been developed to extract information from images using AI techniques. With the help of 1-2 future phd students, we will extend this knowledge-capture concept further to using maps of geographic areas (rather than photographic images) which will require greater computer capacity. There geographic areas will be primarily agricultural regions of Western Australia (via google maps?) with agricultural-productivity information but could be expanded further. The outcome of this project is to develop a process for data integration equivalent to data structures already published in ANDS (https://researchdata.ands.org.au/dean-diepeveen/188453).
