Geothermal multiphysics simulations

By Daniel Bartels • February 18th, 2015

The Pawsey Centre utilises a novel geothermal technique, known as groundwater cooling, for temperature control of its computational hardware. This project will utilise Magnus to conduct large finite element simulations of the groundwater cooling system, which can be used to optimise the system and explore its behaviour and impacts under varying conditions.
