Pawsey Supercomputing Centre is coming to Brisbane offering introductory, intermediate and advanced supercomputing training for all researchers.

Pawsey Training is an opportunity for researchers in Queensland using Pawsey infrastructure to up-skill in many areas. It is also an opportunity for researchers who are interested in using Supercomputing, Data Storage or Visualisation to come along a find out what Pawsey has to offer.

This event will comprise three days of “hands-on” training. We will focus on how to run on Pawsey compute, data and visualisation facilities efficiently and will also cover the two popular parallel programming paradigms, shared and distributed memory programming.

More information about the topics on offer and further details of each session can be found below.

The training will be held at University of Queensland on Monday 26 June finishing on Wednesday 28 June from 9.00am to 4.30pm

Building 01 (Forgan Smith) Room E107 Monday and Tuesday sessions

Building 01 (Forgan Smith) Room W332 Wednesday session

Researchers can book individual sessions or for all three days.

Spaces are limited and registration is required.  Please book here before Tuesday 20 June.

All attendees are required to bring their own laptop.
