We’re coming to YOU… for one day only…
On February 9th 2017, the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre is hitting the road again! Pawsey is coming to Hobart to meet with and help researchers take their projects to the next level.
The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre is a state-of-the-art high-performance computing facility representing Australia’s commitment to the solution of Big Science problems. The facility provides researchers across Australia with access to the most powerful public research computer in the Southern Hemisphere, and it is focused on providing integrated research solutions through world-class expertise and infrastructure in supercomputing, data, and visualisation.
The Roadshow is an event showcasing services and resources that Pawsey provides to researchers across Australia. If you have a project that can benefit from supercomputing, book an appointment for a Pawsey Roadshow workplace visit.
This free event will have staff from Pawsey representing the organisation and answering questions from researchers who would like to take advantage of HPC and related services.
If you are a researcher who is interested in high-performance computing, or if you want to see if your work can be taken to the next level by using powerful computing resources, we welcome you to book an appointment with Pawsey staff. We will be visiting the IMAS and CSIRO facilities on Castray Esplanade.
Pawsey experts will discuss how potential users can gain access to supercomputing, data or visualisation systems and how they can benefit from the expertise of Pawsey staff in transitioning their research. We are also interested in your views on how Pawsey might look in the future. Hence if you would like to discuss with us your future computing requirements, as we progress to 2020, please also come and talk to us.
