Closing dates for applications have been extended!
The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre is searching for projects and students for the Summer Internship 2016 -2017 program.
The Pawsey Summer Internship will run for a 10-week period from November 2016 to February 2017.
To be considered, project proposals must clearly demonstrate that the intern will be involved in exploring aspects of supercomputing, cloud computing, large-scale storage, data analytics, high-speed communications or scientific visualisation and must utilise Pawsey Supercomputing Centre resources.
The internships are open to third year or higher undergraduate students (including honours) at Pawsey partner institutions*. The standard award is $6,000 (tax-free) per student.
Selected students will receive access to high-performance computing, visualisation facilities, large-scale data storage and high-speed communications along with expert help to make best use of technology.
