Call for Expressions of interest to join the Merit Allocation Committee for the National Computational Merit Allocation Scheme (NCMAS) opened July 1, and will close on August 1.
NCMAS provides access, based on research and computational merit, for researchers at Australian universities and publicly-funded research agencies, to resource shares at major national computational facilities. Resource allocations are made by an independent peer-review committee (NCMAC), the secretariat services for which are provided by NCI.
The submissions will be sought for the NCMAC from suitably qualified and experienced researchers (including early- and mid-career researchers) who hold substantive appointments at Australian universities or publicly-funded research organisations. NCMAC members serve a four-year term, with an annual meeting held in Canberra each year, with the 2016 meeting scheduled for 28-29 November.
